As VP of Acquisitions and Development for Gemini Real Estate Advisors, Phil Hospod led every aspect of the hotel and restaurant development from land acquisition, site feasibility, project capitalization, to branding, design, development, construction, opening, and asset management.
The Jade Greenwich Village is a ground-up hotel created in partnership with Atelier & Co and Escobar Design that highlights classical architecture, Parisian Art-Deco interiors, and modern art. The Jade Hotel brand was created as a proprietary boutique brand for Gemini’s portfolio. There were 4 Jade hotels under development upon Phil’s departure from Gemini in 2014.
The award-winning Jade Greenwich Village was sold in 2015 for $78 Million ($690,000 per room) and rebranded as the Walker Hotel Greenwich Village.
